Sorry to hear of Maureen's passing. I met Doug first day of law school, Brooklyn, Jan. 1972. He sat in front of me and turned around to introduce himself - already running for SBA president. We became great friends and he would often drive me home in his VW bug. Then came Maureen. We were friends and couples after I met and married Joan. They attended our wedding in 1982. Doug handled my coop closing. I raised funds after his passing and made a donation to the SBA in his honor. Followed Maureen's extraordinary career. Magnificent couple. So sorry for your loss.

Devon, Morgan and Cameron - Walter and I are so sorry for your loss. Your mom and I served on the Youth Committee and hers was always a voice of reason, and sound advice, and was filled with a deep caring for all children. She will be missed in the community.
I know you followed in your mom's footsteps with your own type of public or private service. Our thoughts are with you. Stay strong.

When Maureen was sitting in Civil Queens, I was sent to her part for a commercial Landlord & Tenant trial. Maureen’s deadpan delivery shone through. She disclosed that I had taken her sister in law Ginny to the Jamaica High School prom, and inquired whether he thought she should recuse herself. He demurred. My deadbeat client was evicted.
